Our Projects

Education

Our goal is to teach students in K-12 schools about the benefits of local food systems, nutrition, and sustainable growing methods such as traditional farming and aeroponics/hydroponics. We believe that by giving students hands-on experience in growing their own food, we can promote a healthier and more sustainable food system for the future.

Our unique curriculum meets state and national stands and we are currently developing our virtual course offering to improve our reach

Fridge Network

Powered by tech, we collaborate with local food producers, food rescue organizations, and other local food based businesses to provide nutritious meals to the community, via a large community led and owned fridge network. We also educate and support members of the community that would like to start their own.

Reduces food wastes, and community led solution to food insecurity

Data

To support our programs, we also conduct research and data collection to better understand the impact of our initiatives on the community. By analyzing survey results from our school programs and data from our community fridges, we can identify areas of improvement and develop new strategies for fighting food insecurity.

We aim to create an open sourced data resource with surveys, interviews, observations, demographic data, etc., for use by the larger global community
