Building community through food.

Fostering education, ownership and community

We believe that people should have ownership and a deeper understanding of food systems and what it means for them.

Thoughtful food systems help build, educate, empower, and sustain both our communities and the environment.

Food is a community

Food is Education

Education is key. We build and conduct K-12 programs educating on farming (traditional and hydroponic), nutrition education, gardening - cultivating a more personal relationship for students to their food systems

Food is Ownership

We promote a culture of public ownership local food systems in a sustainable and impactful way. The creation and support of community fridges and food sovereignty initiatives is our method.

Food is Community

We leverage technology to improve the community we serve. The data we collect from our community fridge and education programs are representative of the food community in Baltimore. In analyzing and sharing the data, we can use the insights to drive data driven recommendations and solutions

Build community with us.
